The Youth Program at PA CareerLink® Lancaster County helps prepare the next generation of workers for meaningful, stable careers.

Whether a participant is exploring first job opportunities or considering post-secondary education, our services provide the tools, guidance, and support needed to take confident next steps.

How We Can Help

With the one-on-one support of our Career Specialists, participants create a personalized career path plan—from exploring pathways and building resumes to gaining work experiences and preparing for interviews. We’re here to help break down barriers, build skills, and open doors to a brighter future.

Earn & Learn Program

PA CareerLink® Lancaster County’s Earn & Learn program provides job readiness training, career exploration, and employment opportunities for youth living in Lancaster County. The program aims to expose youth and young adults to local industries and businesses that can absorb them as full-time employees.

Job Placement/Matching: Youth are matched with employers based on employer specifications, geographic proximity, and availability of reliable transportation for youth.

Staff Support: PA CareerLink® Lancaster County staff work directly with youth and employers to provide communication, linkage, and job placements, as well as to trouble shoot and problem-solve any challenges that arise during the summer.

  • The family income is within 250% of federal poverty guidelines
