PA CareerLink® Day – A Day Full of Conversations, Connections, and Community
What happens when a community comes together to support one another in the pursuit of a core mission of connecting community members with sustainable employment opportunities? On September 18, 2025, PA CareerLink® Lancaster County found out. This past Thursday, PA CareerLink® Lancaster County celebrated PA CareerLink® Awareness Day with a community resource fair from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. With over 20 local organizations and hiring employers; over 90 community members gathered to network with employers and explore valuable community resources.
This annual event is held every fall to host a day full of connections and opportunities the community can take advantage of. From meeting with employers looking to hire, learning about community resources that are available, access to cost-free food, and even free interview clothing—the PA CareerLink® Lancaster County utilizes its office as a hub to connect everyone together and help support sustainable employment.

“We at the PA CareerLink® Lancaster County would like to thank all of our partners, community resources, and employers who helped to make this year’s PA CareerLink® Awareness Day a success! By joining together, we were able to connect approximately 90 individuals with the resources they need as well as the opportunity to meet local employers from a variety of industries. We are a proud partner of the American Job Center Network, and this exemplifies what it means to be a one-stop center.” Said Chris Roggenbaum, Site Administrator of PA CareerLink® Lancaster County.
PA CareerLink® Awareness Day is an initiative that was developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry aimed at connecting job seekers and employers across the state. These events differ from each PA CareerLink® but typically include job fairs, resource fairs, and other activities to successfully connect nearly 5,000 Pennsylvanians with hundreds of employers.
