At PA CareerLink® Lancaster County, we connect community members with sustainable employment and provide the support they need to overcome barriers to success. Our work is built on the belief that when individuals thrive in meaningful careers, the entire community benefits.

Our Goals

Shaped by our vision of a strong and evolving workforce, our goals focus on preparing Lancaster County for the future of work. We aim to build and maintain a workforce that is ready in both numbers and skills to meet the needs of local employers. This includes developing individuals who are equipped with a strong work ethic, foundational academic knowledge, and specific occupational skills that rival those in other regions.

At the same time, we are committed to ensuring equal access to education and career opportunities for all residents, helping every individual find long-term success and satisfaction in their careers. To strengthen this effort, we collaborate with community organizations to coordinate resources and build partnerships that benefit the entire county.

Resources We Provide

To break down barriers to employment, we provide a welcoming space with resources available to all, including:

  • Career Resource Center with access to computers, printers, scanners, and free workshops.
  • Alice’s Kitchen, a section of our breakroom offering food for clients in need, no questions asked.
  • Free WiFi, air conditioning, public bathrooms, and bus-accessible parking.
  • Support groups, job fairs, and career fairs that connect individuals with opportunities and community.

  • A growing, better-prepared workforce.
  • Lower unemployment and dropout rates.
