When you are ready, we have various ways for you to start looking for a job.

  • You can use the PA CareerLink website that is provided by the PA Department of Labor and Industry.  This site allows you to put your resume online to find certain types of jobs that you specify and to search for job postings that employers have put online.  Click here to connect to a link that will take you to the site.

  • You can fine tune your resume and your interviewing skills by taking free workshops at the PA CareerLink.  Interviewing 101 classes are offered every Wednesday at 2 pm. Resume Workshop is offered every Friday at 2 pm, and Resume Review is offered every Thursday at 2 pm.   • Our Resource Room allows you to type your resume, make copies, and fax your resume to employers.  We also have telephone rooms where you can continue your job search with calls to employers to follow-up sending your resume.
  • You can work with one of our counselors who will act as a job search coach, giving you pointers and encouragement as you look for a job.
  • Finally, you can join our very effective Job Club.  Job Club requires you to make a commitment to finding a job your full-time job for up to eight weeks.  Its program of peer support, staff coaching, workshops and seminars, and making cold calls to employers is rigorous but its record...over 95% of participants find the job they want...speaks highly for making the commitment.  Job Club orientations are offered on every Friday at 10 am.
