There are a variety of jobs out there... many more than you would expect!

We encourage you to take some time to think about what job is right for you.

Part of that process involves looking at the variety of jobs which are available.  The Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board and the PA Department of Labor and Industry have identified the High Priority Occupations in Lancaster County...jobs that are and will be very much in demand over the next ten years.  Click here to see and download the list of High Priority Occupations.  You can find more information about these jobs by clicking here.

Another part of the process involves looking at your own knowledge and skills.  We suggest that you use the O*Net Interest Inventory and the WIN Skills Test.  After you take these assessments, a staff person will work with you to indentify the jobs for which you are qualified now and the jobs for which you may be qualified if you get involved in some skill training.
