PA CareerLink Participants Graduate from GED Program

Lancaster: Over 70 participants in the Lancaster County IU-13 Adult and Family Literacy programs at the PA CareerLink of Lancaster County received their GED diploma at a graduation held at JP McCaskey East on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Scott Sheely, Executive Director of the Workforce Investment Board, was among the featured speakers. Sheely spoke to the need for graduates to move ahead in career paths and to see education as a lifelong pursuit.

Both of the Special Award winners, Alejandro Arroyo and Sara Gonzales, came from the PA CareerLink program.
